The lighting journal
The best photo for your free lighting design
Give your concept a clear starting point.
Photograph in daylight
Stand far enough back to include the full front of the property. A level, clear photograph is more useful than a close-up of a single window.
Keep important details visible
Include roof peaks, the entrance, trees, and pathways you want decorated. Avoid heavy filters or nighttime photos that hide the property.
Add a short vision
Tell us what you want lit and whether you prefer warm white or color. You don’t need measurements, an address, or a phone number for the initial request.
